Celebrate National Peanut Month in March

Today kicks off one of our favorite months of the year – National Peanut Month! What better time to celebrate one of America’s favorite foods! In fact, the month of March also celebrates National Nutrition Month. The two celebrations are perfect together since peanuts offer a valuable source of protein and contain over 30 essential nutrients.

So, whether you love the basic PB&J or like to use peanuts or peanut butter in your casseroles, main entrees or desserts then we have some recipe ideas for you. The Georgia Peanut Commission teamed up with Parker’s Plate to develop some new recipes to help you celebrate all month long.

For all of the peanut butter and bacon lovers, we have a new appetizer ready for you to try.  Check out the Bacon Wrapped Peanut Butter and Jelly Jalapeño Poppers.
