Billy and Danny Minick are fourth generation farmers from Preston, Georgia. They have their hands full planting wheat, cotton, corn, and peanuts every year. It has always been a family affair for Billy and Danny. They remember being ten or eleven years old and their father would bring them to the field to work with him. That is where their love for farming truly began. They feel that the industry is hard but can be rewarding if you love it enough. Although it calls for a great life, it can’t be done by a hand book. They state that you have to be prepared for the obstacles this industry faces and the best thing you can do is prepare for them early on.
