Clay Hood is from Swainsboro, Georgia. His farm is Canoochee Creek Farms. He grows cotton and peanuts alongside his cattle operation. Clay’s parents grew up without a farming background and it wasn’t until his father bought the farm in Emanuel County that Canoochee Creek Farms began. He feels that although farming is a tough life, it is a good life and it can teach future generations a good work ethic.
