TIFTON, Ga. – Jeff Adkinson, Georgia peanut farmer and part-time stock car driver, was named a winner at the 2024 PlayNHRA Virginia National Super Stock Finals. Adkinson finished the job with a 9.345 on his 9.34 dial.

Adkinson’s drag racing career spans throughout nearly three decades. Adkinson has had his share of success with multiple NHRA Lucas Oil Series victories, and two NHRA Division 2 championships. He has won big dollar bracket races, including a $15,000 triumph along the B&M Racer’s Appreciation Series.

Back home in Damascus, Georgia, Adkinson is part owner of JDA Farms. This partnership is between himself, his wife, daughter and son-in-law. They grow peanuts, cotton, corn and wheat. He has been farming for over 40 years. Adkinson has mentioned that being able to start with a blank canvas and nurture a crop and land until it produces a commendable harvest is his favorite part of farming.
