Make plans to attend the 48th annual Georgia Peanut Farm Show and Conference set for Jan. 16, 2025. The show will be held Thursday, Jan. 16 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the University of Georgia Tifton Campus Conference Center in Tifton, Georgia. The show is free and open to all farmers and industry representatives to attend. The show is sponsored by the Georgia Peanut Commission.

Attendees will have the opportunity to visit with more than 100 agribusinesses and organizations in the peanut and agricultural industry. Farmers will be able to earn private and commercial pesticide applicator certification, as well as learn about cutting-edge research and developments during the University of Georgia Peanut Production Seminar and industry-wide sponsored Peanut Seed Seminar.

KMC Sponsors Grand Door Prize

Kelley Manufacturing Co. is offering as a Grand Door Prize the use of a new Peanut Combine (choice of 4-row, 6-row, or combine with Unload-on-the-Go option), on the winner’s farm, for the 2024 peanut harvesting season, with the option of purchasing the combine through an authorized KMC dealer with $15,000 off the list price. In lieu of the combine the winner can choose the use of another KMC Peanut Harvest Implement with a 10% discount off the list price for purchase. In addition, the winner will also receive $5,000 cash money. 

The winner must be certified as a peanut grower with an FSA farm number, must have a minimum of 75 acres of peanuts, and must be present to win.

Amadas Sponsors Grower Door Prize

Amadas Industries is offering the Grower Door Prize for the 2024 Georgia Peanut Farm Show which includes a certificate good for the amount of $15,000.00 towards the purchase of a new Amadas Self-Propelled Peanut Combine or $7,500.00 towards the purchase of a new Amadas 4-row or 6-row Pull-Type Peanut Combine, or $4,500.00 towards the purchase of a new Amadas 6-row or 8-row digger, or $1,500.00 towards the purchase of a new Amadas peanut dump cart. Along with the certificate, the winner will receive a customized Grizzly cooler.

As a second drawing, Amadas Industries is also offering a customized Grizzly cooler which will contain a certificate good for a parts credit of $1,500.00 for Amadas parts through a local authorized Amadas dealer.

The winner must be certified as a peanut grower with an FSA farm number and must be present to win.

Blood Drive

The Georgia Peanut Commission, in cooperation with the OneBlood, will host a blood drive on Thursday, Jan. 18, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. during the show.

All donors receive:

– Wellness Checkup including blood pressure pulse, temperature, iron count and cholesterol screening
